Now you can let your friends know your location through your personal page created on Schmap!!. The page created on this free service is like any other hyperlink and can show your location on a map. It displays the location perfectly on most of our modern age devices.
Here’s a three step process to create your own Schmap page.
- Go to Schmap.me and check if your name is available. (If the text box turns red from green means the username is already taken). Click on Grab it.
- On the next page fill in the required fields. – All the fields mentioned are optional- Do fill in the address field for obvious reasons!
- Agree to their terms of service and click on Finish.
You’re done. Get your link. Share it. Gozar!
Now that’s called harnessing web and making utmost use of it. True to their tag line, they have really gone beyond the Google map.
PS: Do read their TOS before registering. There are strict terms like you can’t use a company or a landmark name unless you satisfy some conditions.
