List of useful websites for Bangaloreans
This is an ongoing list of websites and services which can be useful for people of bangalore. Please add in the comments below if I have missed out any.
- Bangalore : Find directions and bus-stops : You can get directions from your start point to end point on a neat map. Also included is an Auto fares calculator.
- BMTC : This is an official website of Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation(BMTC). You can get information on bus routes, Volvo, buses running to BIAL.
- Exhaustive List of Taxi Services: An exhaustive list of taxi services operating out of Bangalore.
- http://airliftonline.com/Default.aspx : This seems to be a nice substitute for Volvo Buses. Prices being very competitive. Though, I am yet to check this out.
- Bus Routes To BIAL: The first time I searched for this info, believe me it took me more than 15 mins to dig out this page from the web. For the benefit of all, I am mentioning this direct link to BIAL bus routes. So if you are planning a journey to Bangalore International Airport, this site would be handy. It covers info on all bus-stops, timings, fares between Bangalore city and Bangalore airport.
