CommentHunt: Find do follow blogs and increase your PageRank
PageRank of any web-page is simply dictated by the number of high quality web pages that link back to your site and is one of the most important parts of any sites SEO strategy. Here is a service that can take some pressure out of your SEO/link building campaigns and help you increase your PageRank.
CommentHunt is a web service that lets you find blogs that have disabled nofollow in their content management system(CMS). [nofollow is a widely used tag by the CMS provider community to prevent comment spam. When this tag is used with a link it means that page rank will not be passed from the linking page to the linked page. Read more about nofollow] Some bloggers choose to remove the nofollow restrictions if they have some good systems in place to prevent spam and if they believe in commenter’s site. [Though It's a risky thing to do I tell you!]

To start finding dofollow blogs simply type in the keyword you are targeting and hit search. CommentHut will search for high page rank dofollow blogs write from its interface. Your job is to go on a blog and contribute something meaningful. I have made this in bold since dofollow bloggers are generally skeptical of new commenter’s and if they find an iota of hint of you trying to game or spam their system, they will outright ban your IP /email.
Follow my quick tip and increase PageRank of your blog. Don’t forget to come back here and say thank you when you see your page rank increase after the next page rank update. [btw next PR update should happen around mid March '09]

Thanks for the heads up on this.
I personally changed all my blogs to DO FOLLOW some time ago. To prevent spammers as best I can I do however moderate comments.
Although my main blog is only PR3 at least my commenter’s get a bit of link love this way.
Welcome Mike. Did you notice the increase in comments after you made them to dofollow?
ROW, yes I did notice an increase, however I don’t put this all down to DO FOLLOW.
BTW an easy way to check DO FOLLOW is provided in the FireFox browser (sure you know already)?
Just right click the link and select properties!
Yes, but this way you can high-PR related blogs just by doing search.
Great post about commenthunt.com.
Currently we use comment kahuna to also find blogs but i think commenthunt.com might be winning over the office link ninjas.
@ Mike – just use the seo for firefox plugin tool!
winning over the office link ninjas
Well said Brad.
Brad thanks for advice Firefox SEO funnily enough I discovered it the other day! There don’t seem many blogs that are true do follow.
wow,This’s a very useful website easy to seo.thanks.

Thank you so much
Sal
Thank you for the great post. I’m wondering, though, do you consider Blogger’s CAPTCHA an effective device in catching spam on a dofollow blog?
I disabled mine a couple of months ago and have only gotten one spam comment. (Could be that I also don’t have hoards of commenters, tho.) I’m a newbie to all of this – and although I love the things I’ve learned from you, I’m wondering if I should re-enable that gadget – or if you feel it’s unnecessary (or that there’s a better program out there.)
I appreciate all your wisdom – and your willingness to share it with everyone else.
Katherine
IMHO, there is no harm in enabling CAPTCHA. Once your blog will get famous you might get bombarded with these spammers.
Thank you for that, ROW. It’s nice to get the opinion of someone who does have a “famous” blog!
You totally rock!
Nice post! very interesting topic. keep on posting.
Hi,
Thanks for the tip. But I don’t think it works.
For example, I tried to search “technology”. http://www.solo-technology.com was in the results. But it’s not dofollow.
The do follow blogs are offering something valuable: one link for one quality comment. Thank you for that, ROW. It’s nice to get the opinion of someone who does have a “famous” blog!
thanks! learning from! it!
Nice,
I work with a guy who said he’d gotten hundreds of visits and TONS of traffic to his blog just by commenting on a few of the bigs out there: SEOmoz.org, SearchEngineJournal.com, etc. This post is a great resource. Thx!
Thanks Jordan! Glad you liked it.
Wow, thanks for this amazing service. It’s a great idea to give love to others.
used it and I commented on a few and now i hope that they accept them
@Jessica: Agree. If used in a sensible way w/o any intention of spamming the blogger, than it can do wonders.
Thanks Dude. You are doing great service to all web masters looking for back links via comments.
Nice post.Thank you.
you can also use comment kahuna to findout related highpr blogs!
Yeah, just that you need to install a desktop app for comment kahuna
Folks – sure, use CommentHunt’s free tool, but stay away from their paid service. It’s a waste of money; actually worse. Their customer support is non-existent and you’ll get Google-slapped for linkage from ‘bad neighborhoods’.
